Market research has determined that these items are highly specialized, are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of items will satisfy agency requirements. Roche is the original equipment manufacturer of Roche Liat Consumables and the sole provider for maintenance of their products. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate (Roche) has no authorized distributors, and they are the sole manufacturer that can service and/or maintain their products. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the sole provider of the system and its related maintenance on the systems.
This intent to sole source is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals.
