The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to ANARK CORPORATION, 4775 Walnut St, Suite #200, Boulder, CO 80301 (Cage Code: 3C0A3) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The COMFRC East, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for a base year plus four (4) year subscription of Anark software in support of Digital Data Center-s Model-Based Definition (MBD) project that is digitizing and automating the flow of aircraft parts designs from Engineering to Manufacturing. Software Subscription includes license, maintenance, and support. ANARK CORPORATION is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Anark products are proprietary and only available from Anark. Anark is the OEM for the applicable products and does not authorize any third party modification or patches to its software. Anark owns the copyrights with all legal rights, privileges, and ownership. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from ANARK CORPORATION (CAGE Code: 3C0A3). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
