The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), intends to make an award on a sole source basis to Special Services Group, LLC, 3348 Paul Davis Dr., Suite 103, Marina, CA 93933.
This product is solely offered by Special Services Group, LLC. Special Services Group, LLC is the sole source manufacturer and provider of the SSGMVC™ miniature video compressor line of products. These devices are manufactured and sold exclusively by Special Services Group, LLC to law enforcement agencies of the Federal Government, State Government, Local Government, and the Military. The systems contain proprietary features not available from any other manufacturer, including efficient, original quality video compression for bandwidth reduction, long term onboard recording, extremely low power draw, miniature size and specialized concealments and batteries. TIGTA requires miniature pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) IP security camera systems that can be deployed in a number of locations, utilizing a variety of methods. These cameras must have an accompanying modem capable of accepting a variety of SIM cards and have a form factor that can fit inside a circular space of two (2) inches in diameter. Both the camera and modem must be capable of accepting power from a variety of sources that can also fit inside housings of no more than two inches in diameter. The captured video from the camera must be viewable through current video management software in TIGTA inventory.
Currently, the only IP camera meeting these requirements is the Miniature Video Compressor PTZ camera manufactured and sold by Special Services Group.
