Description
The 48 RQS is requesting the procurement of two types of Automatic Parachute Cargo Releases with different weight-ratings. Upon ground or water impact, the cargo release senses a reduction in tension and disconnects, separating the parachute from the payload which prevents the package from being pulled if winds increase. The purpose of this notice is to announce the 355 CONS's intent to sole source this requirement to a single vendor in accordance to Technical Order TO 13C7-1-5. Please send in an email to the POC if there is any objection to this.
