Synopsis: The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Mortgage Bankers Association 1717 Rhode Island Avenue NW Washington DC 20036-2572, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. The Office of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) is seeking contractor support in conducting their Annual FHA Underwriting training for the Multifamily Accelerated Processing(MAP) Guide. The training shall include topics such as but not limited to: Borrower Entities and Key Principals, Mortgage Credit and Property Operating Statement Analysis; Multifamily Appraisal Principles and Procedures; Market Survey and Analysis; Valuation Analysis; Architecture and Design; Environmental Analysis; Multifamily Property Inspection; Rate Lock and Securitization; Closing Procedures and Loan Documents; and a review of HUD Forms. The period of performance is for a 6-month period. The NAICS code is 611430 and the size standard is $11 million. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may submit a written response via email to Gabriel Wright at the email address below by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on November 21, 2019. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, HUD will proceed with the sole source award to Mortgage Banker s Associates. The anticipated award date of this requirement is around December 15, 2019.
