The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE contract to Valkyrie Aero, LLC to provide Maxwell AFB's Air Force Reserve officer Training Corps (AFROTC) with ejection-capable turboprop aircraft for cadet orientation and incentive flights in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This is a non-personal services contract to purchase orientation flights, in high performance turboprop aircraft, for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) stakeholders/mission partners and AFROTC cadets. The intent of the program is to give participants one hour of flying time and emulate the experience of military flying, including formation and aerobatics.

Period of Performance: 01 June 2024 - 02 August 2024

There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The contractor needs to be registered in the DoD System for Award Management (SAM).
