The City of Tampas Mobility Department has been asked by FDOT to upgrade their switches to a SFP in order to accommodate FDOTs Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices which have been installed along I-275. The Ruggedcom SFP is the only device that can connect and combine the Citys and FDOTs ITS switch. The Citys intent is to purchase this from Intelligent Transportation Services, Inc.
