THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.
DESCRIPTION
This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential offerors for information and planning purposes.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Far East (NAVFAC FE) is currently seeking potential sources for for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) contract Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) for Medical Waste (MW) Collection, Transportation, and Disposal Services in the U.S. Naval Installations in KANTO Plain, JAPAN. The resulting contract will have one (1) Base Period and four (4) Option Periods comprised of Recurring and Non-Recurring Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs). Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause.
The information received will be utilized within the Navy to facilitate the decision making processes and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. All data received in response to this Source Sought Notice marked or designated, as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government.
No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice in accordance with FAR 15.201(e).
