A The system is an integrated computer system to support for educational activities and to encourage research in Nagaoka University of Technology.

B The system consists of the following units ; servers for performing numerical calculations and application programs fast and efficiently, sufficient number of computers (about four hundred units) for the client terminals, and devices required to operate the system.

C The system must have sufficient general purpose numerical analysis programs and applications necessary for educational activities and the academic research activities, and must have sufficient processing ability when they are simultaneously used by many users.
