The insulating joints must be able to be used in gap-free track, joint track and track switches with rail profiles SJ43, 50E3, 54E3 and 60E1. The insulating joint must be able to be used in tracks with all types of reinforcement found within the Swedish Transport Administration for each rail model. The insulation joint must be unglued and not require glue or grout for assembly. The need primarily concerns joints with four holes. for the rail profiles 60E1 and 50E3, six-hole joints are needed. The agreement also includes the delivery of terminal installations.
