The object is the supply and installation of a new backup system of short HF communications throughout the territory. The equipment to be procured will be a back-up communications system between the Joint Operations and Management Coordination Center of Crisis (ESKEDIK) with the thirteen (13) Regional Operations Centers (PEKE), the four (4) Mobile Operation Centers Olympus (KEK) of the Fire Brigade and the Directorate of Informatics and Communications of the P.S. in the event of a mega catastrophe event, when no other communication (conventional or satellite) will be possible as well as the provision of training for the correct operation of the system and relevant educational material (user instructions and audio-visual material) in the Greek language. Education will carried out in collaboration with the staff of the relevant department of the IT and Communications Directorate in Moschato Attica.
