Request for proposals are invited for Installation and Maintenance of an Electronic Fare Collection System (EFCS).
The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC). located at Michael Manley Drive, Twickenham Park, Spanish Town, St. Catherine, is requesting the submission ol proposal inclusive ot quotations from entities with the ability and capacity to undertake the INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN ELECTRONIC FARE COLLECTION SYSTEM (EFCS).
Finally, the EFSC system must come equipped with, but not limited to, marketing (unctions such as automated text to alert low balance via SMS and pop-up advertisements.

The JUTC invites you to respond to the request for Proposal (RFP) which will be available for download via the electronic portal (www.gojep.gov.jm) by Wednesday, August 07, 2019.

For Submission of Bids:

Bidders must be registered on the Government ol Jamaica Electronic Procurement System at www.gojep.gov.jm. To register, please select the "register as a supplier" link from the system's home page.

Proposals must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm by August 29. 2019 at 1:00 p.m.

• An online bid opening will take place on August 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.

Deadline for clanfication; All requests for clarification should be submitted on or before August 21, 2019 via the electronic portal.

Entities wanting to take part in this RFP process must be able to install and monitor the EFCS being proposed and said EFCS must be online 24/7 and should at least come equipped with the following functional requirements but not limited to:

BOJ registered and approved Mobile Money Platform

Have a robust platform that can withstand ANY potential threats

(natural and man-made)

• System should be cloud based

• Full documentation for all categories of users on all component systems

• Crystal Reports (or other reporting tool) integrated into the software solution (please specify tool in comments) Database with integrated backup and purge procedures System designed to create and manage history files, i.e. all Smart Card transactions from inception will not be stored in one table, (suggestion : a table per year)

• System must operate online, real-time, but capable of working offline

System must support mobile ticketing technology to allow passengers to pre-purchase bus tickets at anytime using their mobile phone

The ticketing application must be integrated with the mobile money platform
