OBJECTIVE
The Department of Veteran s Affairs has a requirement to provide humidification monitoring and control for two storage rooms at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veteran s Affairs Medical Center (RMRVAMC), located at 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora CO 80045. The objective of this contract is to modify existing HVAC systems to ensure the relative humidity in the Pharmacy Cache storage rooms can be maintained within the required range.
2.0 STATEMENT OF WORK
The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment to complete the contact objective above per contact drawings and specifications. General tasks shall include but are not limited to the following:
Provide Class II dust containment of work areas as required by ICRA.
Organize construction tasks to minimize downtime time of air handling equipment.
Demolish and properly dispose of existing section of supply ductwork duct in penthouse.
Replace section of duct with steam dispersion manifold and associated stainless steel ducting sloped, configured, and insulated per drawings and specifications.
Install low pressure steam, condensate, and drain lines with associated valves, strainers, steam traps, check valves, and fittings per drawings and specifications.
Install control system components (controllers, temperature sensors, relative humidity sensors, control valves, etc.)
Install electrical power wiring, control wiring, conduit and supports.
Integrate controls with existing building BAS to include configuration, programming, and graphics development.
Provide O&M training for VA personnel.
Provide redlined shop drawings for use in updating facility as-builts.
