Expression of Interest are invited for Inspection of Pumping Station Control Room.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and works worldwide in the fields of international cooperation for sustainable development.

Financed by the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in close cooperation with the partner Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) GIZ cooperates with the Water Establishments in the North, South and in Bekaa.
For the rehabilitation of the Taybeh pumping station control room GIZ is looking for
qualified companies or consultants
to inspect all electric and electronic equipment and to prepare a report with recommendations for repair, including a BoQ and necessary tender documents.
Works include the inspection of all related electric and electronic equipment of the pumping station control room. This includes the inspection of Medium Voltage Switchgear Controllers (6-7 KV) and related Soft / Starter Panels. A complete report with recommendations for the repair of the control room, necessary spare parts, programming of the soft panel, BoQ and tender documents with TOR is expected.
If your professional profile fulfils the following criteria:
· company and / or consultant duly registered with the Government of Lebanon
· formation of company and / or establishment: latest 2012 (at least 5 years of experience)
· accredited with the CDR and MoEW
· proven experience with installation or repair of similar control rooms and specifically with Siemens Series 81000 Medium Voltage Controllers and soft starters
· proven experience of work and successful coordination with the SLWE
· proven ownership of required testing equipment and software experience
· proven qualified electrical engineers
· valid professional indemnity insurance for all activities
· proven ability to submit international recognized bank guarantee

· GIZ will do a pre-selection from all application according the questionnaires GIZ received
· The aim of this selection process is the creation of a list of qualified companies
· In any case GIZ reserves itself the right to select the companies for the shortlist. GIZ is under no obligation whatsoever.
