The purpose of the agreement is to ensure that all extinguishing equipment meets the applicable requirements at all times functionality, safety and regulatory standards. The agreement must cover regular checks of the equipment, including inspection, testing and documentation of the condition. Furthermore, it must include necessary maintenance, such as repairs, cleaning and replacement of components to ensure optimal performance. The supplier who is awarded the contract will also be responsible for giving advice on upgrades or replacement of equipment that no longer meets the requirements.
