INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT - DELTA MUNICIPALITY ROADS INFRASTRUCTURE - ROAD PROJECTS OF DELTA MUNICIPALITY The roads mainly serve local traffic and agricultural crops and greenhouses and at times of the day they are loaded with traffic from various processing units or services, which operate scattered in the area. Each street is contributed by vertically smaller streets. In the area/street selected by the Municipality of Delta, there will be either road improvement with surface restoration or complete reconstruction, or construction of new urban roads mainly in the extensions of the settlements or additions to roads outside the plan. They are located in the settlements and peri-urban areas of Kymina, N. Malgara, Anatoliko, Chalastra, Sindos, N. Magnesia, Diavati and Kalochori (in 4 sections). At south of Chalastra, the ring road, after being underground with a pipeline, is planned to become a pedestrian street on the surface of the ground. Finally, because there are a number of other roads with a number of localized problems and damages, it is foreseen that there will be fixed quantities works, with which they will be restored. A total of 45 roads were selected, with a length of interventions of approximately 45 km. Of the above roads, 34 are paved. Of these, 13 have minor damage and surface restoration will be done on all 21 they are asphalt-laid but with the surface layer damaged in places up to a depth of 15-20 centimeters.
