INFORMATION REQUEST / MARKET SURVEY Framework arrangement of Metrolinja's pumping stations to support procurement preparation THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT NOR A REQUEST FOR OFFER, IT IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND A MARKET SURVEY Helsinki city transport department, Länsimetro and Sammalvuoren Metrovarikko are preparing the procurement of the framework arrangement related to the pumping stations of the metro line. The object of the acquisition is primarily the basic water pumping stations located on the metro line's track line, as well as the pumps used in them and the additional parts related to them. The procurement may also include services, such as product-related support services, however, in such a way that the installation services are basically organized through separate contracts. To support the procurement preparation, the procurement unit carries out a market survey in the form of an information request. The aim of the market survey is to form an overall picture of the solutions, suppliers and delivery models available on the market, and to obtain information about the technical aspects of pump solutions especially suitable for pumping stations characteristics, life cycle, delivery reliability and practical experiences in similar destinations. The obtained information is utilized in the more precise definition of the procurement target, setting requirements and preparing the procurement procedure. Market research is open to all suppliers who have to offer pump solutions suitable for pumping stations, related additional parts or services related to the procurement target.
