Country: Papua New Guinea Description of the Assignment: The objective of the consultancy is to strengthen national UNCT in the country to collect and analyse evidence on volunteerism, providing additional capacity for policy review, under a qualitative and quantitative review of volunteerism, contributing to adequate situation analysis for the UNSDCF. Therefore, national situation analysis on volunteering, civic engagement and participation based on the international practices, identifying a normative and policy environment, updated data sets, good practices and volunteer based organizations which contribute to key SDGs and national development priorities will be prepared. Thus, will be a key input for the VNR preparation and will serve as a baseline for further analysis, planning, implementation of SDGs strategies and response under the 2030 agenda.
