This work is for electrical engineering services for the provision of incident energy analysis of Housing Facilities.
The City of Cornwall owns and operates approximately 25 housing sites located throughout Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, including four 10 storey apartment buildings located in Cornwall. These buildings are from 47 to 54 years of age.
This work is to secure a qualified and experienced firm to conduct a shock and arc flash analysis of four 10 storey apartment buildings listed on the bid sheet. This will include conducting the analysis, installing labels on all electrical equipment (motor control centres, switch boards, transfer switches, circuit breaker panels, disconnect switches, etc.) and providing recommendations. All work must be conducted to the minimum of Canadian Standard Association-s (CSA) Z462-24.
The Successful Contractor is required to either have on staff, or hire, a licensed Electrician. All services by a licensed electrician necessary to complete the work, under this contract, are to be included in bid price.
