This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (“SLGA”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for RFP# 24-003 - Inbound Transportation to the destination of our Distribution Centre, located at 12252 Ewing Ave, Regina, SK S4M 0A1. We are interested in contracting services for all routes by utilizing a primary carrier and secondary carrier structure. SLGA imports beverage alcohol from countries around the world and requires the services of qualified companies to manage its domestic and international freight forwarding, including consolidation and ocean freight services (the “Services”). SLGA is looking for proponents to manage from source delivery to the SLGA warehouse. SLGA-s freight forwarding & consolidation services include: Arranging shipment of cargo purchased “EX Works” from our suppliers; Arranging shipment of cargo purchased “FCA” from our suppliers; Storing cargo until it is consolidated for shipping; Consolidating less than full container loads of cargo at a consolidation facility into full container loads of cargo; Utilize LCL shipments of cargo when deemed necessary while remaining cost effective; Transporting cargo from the consolidation facility to the applicable port of loading; and/or Consolidation services may also require transportation of full container loads of cargo from a supplier-s facility to the applicable port of loading.
