Tenders are invited for Improvement of Tsuen Wan Riviera Park and Tsuen Wan Park - phase 1 development
The works include the improvement of Tsuen Wan Riviera Park comprising (a) enhancement of the facilities of 11-a-side natural turf pitch including replacement of underground irrigation system, installation of underground drainage system, returfing and extending the cover over the spectator stand; (b) conversion of the gateball court and its surrounding areas into a small community garden with ancillary facilities and a 3x3 basketball court, and replacement of pavilions along the promenade; (c) reconstruction of children's play area and fitness areas including provision of children play equipment, provision of fitness equipment for adults and the elderly, replacement of the toilet block adjacent to the children's play area by ancillary facilities, including toilets and changing rooms and a babycare room, etc., and construction of a basketball practice court; (d) demolition of existing facilities at the park such as toilet block, children's play equipment, fitness equipment, pavilions, shelters, seating benches, tables and planters, etc.; together with building services installation, drainage and external works. The site area is about 20, 390 square meters. The contract is scheduled to commence in January 2023 and for completion in March 2025.
