. In improvement of the security of the critical infrastructure, Swissgrid has launched various projects. In order to improve cyber security, Swissgrid has decided to implement the industry recommendation of the VSE issued by the Federal Office for Economic State Provision. In existing protective and station guidelines (Substation Automation Systems -SAS -SAS -SAS), any weaknesses are to be identified, eliminated and improvements in cybersecurity implement. The following services essentially includes the announcement announced here: • Safe passwords are set on all OT devices (IEDS-protective relays, control units, interference writers, etc. as well as on switches, gateways, servers, etc.). A roll concept is implemented. • The existing local station management system is migrated to a current version.
