As part of the opening of rail transport to competition and the delegation of the operation of its TER lines, the Pays de la Loire Region (hereinafter The Region) wanted to divide the Pays de la Loire TER network into several lots. The lot Tram-Train - Sud Loire, is the first to have been the subject of a call for tenders. It was awarded to SNCF Voyageurs (SNCF Voyageurs Loire Océan - SVLO) on July 11, 2023 through a public service delegation contract (CSP) relating to the management and the operation of the public passenger rail transport service concerning the Sud Loire and Tram-Train complexes signed on July 5, 2023. This contract also aims to confer on the SVLO operator responsibility for the maintenance of the Equipment. rolling stock necessary for the provision of the transport offer as well as the maintenance of all levels of this equipment, including the implementation at its expense of Mid-Life Operations (OPMV) of the railway rolling stock. Conformément à son offre, SVLO confie la carrying out the considered industrial maintenance operations to a service provider selected after competitive bidding.
