Remove the existing epoxy coating and undertake necessary repairs to the suspended concrete slab located on the exterior northeast section of the building, directly above the storage room. Additionally, address the slab areas situated above the southeast and southwest entrances, which are positioned above the mechanical room. The concrete in these areas is suspected to be compromised, exhibiting visible cracking and localized corrosion of the reinforcing steel.The scope of work includes the following:-Repair all cracks and restore deteriorated reinforcing steel, addressing any spalling or surface scaling.-Reapply a waterproof epoxy wear course.-Remove and replace the existing drain above the mechanical room at the South-East entrance.-Properly detail and seal the new drain to ensure a watertight connection.-Restore the concrete ramps serving both entrances as part of the repair.-The consultant shall assess the adequacy of the existing ramps in relation to current accessibility standards (CSA B651-18) and recommend improvements where applicable.
