Description: Additional support for domestic SMEs is required for the rapid transfer of new scientific findings in the field of digitization to the economy. An effective way to build up new knowledge and digitization skills (from the areas of Industry 4.0, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) in companies is through intensive cooperation between science and industry. The FFG supports the transformation of companies, especially domestic SMEs, through the newly created “Fast Track Digital” funding program. In order to accelerate the implementation of the funded research and innovation projects as well as possible and to create improved starting conditions for SMEs with low staffing levels, an IMPACT support program will be set up. To fulfill this task, a framework agreement should be concluded with an economic operator in the course of an EU-wide procurement procedure.
