Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Impact study of the project “Strengthening the mobilization and involvement of civil societies on debt issues in Southern countries”

The first phase of this field and advocacy project, funded by AFD, took place between 2015 and 2018. It was entitled: "Strengthening the mobilization of civil societies for the follow-up of debt reduction and development contracts (France, Cameroon, Congo, Ivory Coast, Guinea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo)". Its general objective was then to contribute to the improvement of democratic governance through the participation of civil society in the monitoring of public policies in the five countries but also more specifically to strengthen the role of French civil society and civil societies of the five countries on debt and development finance issues. With a total budget of €526, 258 (including 50% of AFD's participation), this first phase made it possible to structure and/ or strengthen the structuring of civil society around six platforms. In addition to this structuring of civil society, the first phase of the project also made it possible to establish a dialogue between civil society and public authorities, to have civil society recognized, and to continue or launch independent monitoring projects of C2D in three of these countries (Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Guinea).
