Description

The Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) office routinely collects air andsurface samples during surveys and assessments to identify occupational exposure to health andsafety hazards. These samples must be sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis. The SOHoffice has a federally mandated requirement to annually calibrate equipment that is utilized forconducting workplace surveys and assessments. Recurring surveys and sample collectionrequires replenishment of sampling supplies and media.
