The offer is requested to support the collection, identification and pre -treatment of expert levels in a biochemical research project. The work consists of the time planning of sample collection, the identification of fungi in the terrain and the microscopy laboratory, and the identified fungal samples collecting, analyzing geochemical signals for collected fungi, and reporting work. The study area is located in Polvijarvi and Juua in North Karelia. The work obliges participation in off -road survey and the responsibility of the laboratory authentication of the species and by being part of the pre-treatment of samples (preparation, drying, etc.). The aim of the work is to collect sufficiently identified fungal species from the research area and to determine the metal and trace element concentrations. As well as report findings in English to scientific publications. In order to collect a sufficient number of fungal species, you may need to do the field work in more parts where the bidder should commit to. The duration of the work will be about 2 weeks of field work and a suitable amount of reporting and laboratory work. The field work must be ready by November 1, 2025 at the latest. The work should be done with GTK employees. The schedule will be agreed in more detail on the basis of the service provider's schedule plan. Travel costs should be included to offer.
