Abstract: TfL's Dial-a-Ride (DaR) service is responsible for delivering a multi-occupancy door-to-door transportation service. The service is available to registered members living in London boroughs who are unable to access mainstream public transport.DaR are seeking to replace the current booking and scheduling system that is in place. The new solution is required to support the aspirations of the assisted transport services (ATS) roadmap, which aims to bring together customer access to multiple ATS options (including non-TfL systems, funders and suppliers) onto a single platform, to enable ATS customers to self-service access the most appropriate form of transport and sources of funding to meet their travel needs, whether or not they are directly operated by TfL.
