IBex was developed to support DOD operations in remote or hostileenvironments where little or no commercial capability information is known or exists.Bolstering DLA-s ability to rapidly respond to shifting worldwide events, IBex-s strategicpartnerships with industry experts allows government planners to leverage the expertise ofthe commercial sector, and to gain access to those commercial capabilities if required.Moreover, through IBex-s partnerships with industry and its Market Research reports, theprogram provides industrial base awareness over assets that can be utilized during acontingency or national emergency.This report will provide in-depth information on local production capacity for selectmedical devices for the following TAA-compliant countries: • Australia • Japan • SouthKorea • Taiwan
