I/55 Břeclav, bypass The subject of the project solution is the elimination of traffic problems resulting from the location of the exposed Class I road in the stretch through the built-up area of the city of Břeclav, including the adjacent section of silos. I/40 led through the local part of Poštorná. The technical parameters of the through sections of these Class I roads do not meet the requirements for a safe, smooth and capacity transfer of the increasing traffic intensity of transit traffic from the D2 highway towards the Czech Republic/Austria state border. To reduce the negative impacts of transport to the environment of residential buildings, it is proposed to route them outside the urban area mainly along agricultural areas.
