Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to construct improvements for the I-280/Wolfe Road Interchange Improvement Project (Project). The Project will extend along Wolfe Road from Perimeter Road at the south, to Pruneridge Avenue at the north and will make the following key improvements: remove and replace the Wolfe Road Overcrossing (Bridge No. 37-0216) structure, to include three through lanes and a right-turn lane in each direction; realign and widen the existing diagonal on-ramps to accommodate High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) preferential lanes and additional mixed-flow lanes; realign both off-ramps as well as widening each off-ramp from four lanes to five lanes; remove and replace soundwalls where affected by other widening; and install new traffic signals at each ramp intersection with Wolfe Road.Between Perimeter Road and Pruneridge Avenue, the project will construct northbound and southbound Class IV bicycle facilities and pedestrian sidewalks alongside Wolfe Road. The Class IV facility will include at-grade signalized crossings across the two off-ramps, the two loop on-ramps, and the two diagonal on-ramps.
