The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command -Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to CytoViva, Inc. 570 Devall Drive Suite 301 Auburn, AL 36832-3948, under the authority as prescribed in RFO FAR 12.102(a). The requirement is for a Hyperspectral Imaging System.
No other source for this acquisition can be used as the Government-s requirement because the current contractor is the exclusive provider of the patented and proprietary enhanced darkfield optical microscope with integrated hyperspectral imaging system.
