EDF Renewables wishes, through an innovation partnership, to achieve 4 objectives:
1) Develop and install a fixed platform intended to host an offshore hydrogen production system that can be operated remotely. 2)Develop and install an offshore electrolyzer fully integrated into thehydrogen production platform mentioned above for which the control, inspection and maintenance operations will be carried out remotely, automated and optimized as best as possible for use on the high seas. 3) Design, certify and operate, or make operate, a sto vesselstorage and transport of hydrogen in the gaseous state which is adapted to the specificities of the platform and the reception infrastructures of the port of destination. 4) Develop and install a hydrogen transshipment system.
