Tender Details
The intent of the project is to complete a major control modernization, new cap finishes, and cylinder replacement of the Hydraulic elevator at the Norfolk County Courthouse & Land Registry (B17477) in Simcoe, ON. The scope is derived from recommendations made in a KJA report sections 3.2, 3.3, and 3, 5.The project scope includes: Replace the present controller with a newer design of the microprocessor-based controller, replacement of the door operator, and fixture replacement, possible replacement of the leveling valve, and some refurbishing of the hydraulic pump and motor. Replace the existing cab finishes due to age. Replace the cylinder with a PVC-lined cylinder because of the water intrusion between the PVC liner and cylinder can lead to accelerated corrosion (since the water is effectively trapped around the cylinder) and potential failure of the buried hydraulic cylinder.
