Summary Details:
Island Health desires to establish a contractual relationship with qualified contractors (Prime Contractors) capable of performing mechanical insulation installation projects over the next number of years at Island Health facilities. These projects will be completed on an as-needed basis. Specifically, Island Health is looking for mechanical insulation contractors that are experienced and have a complete and thorough understanding of the specific techniques of insulation installation. The contractor must have knowledge of, and recommend the various types of, insulation that would work best under each sites' conditions. The overall goal is to reduce facility energy use through proper application of insulation.
