Msy hvac controls and equipment project





the federal aviation administration (faa) is seeking competent and qualified contractors interested in providing offers for an air traffic control tower (atct) hvac project. This is not a screening information request (sir) or request for proposal (rfp).





Section i- requirement scope





this project is for the replacement of the hvac controls and equipment. The project location will be at the (atct) at the louis armstrong new orleans international airport (msy). See the attached statement of work (sow) for more information.





The estimated price of the proposed construction project is between $1, 000, 000.00 and $1, 500, 000.00.





Payment and performance bonds will be required as part of the solicitation.





Section ii- contract type and evaluation criteria





the solicitation is expected to be a total small business set-aside and evaluated as a lowest price technically acceptable competition.





The north american industry classification system (naics) is 238220 plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors. The small business size standard is $15.0 million, and the solicitation will be a total small business set-aside.
