In order to preventatively maintain the passenger compartment air conditioning systems of the Combino tram fleet (manufacturer Siemens), conversion kits for the existing condenser fans must be purchased. The condenser fans currently installed have been in use for around 15 - 20 years use and are now obsolete. Of the 86 air conditioning units, only 17 air conditioning units had been converted to new condenser fans as of this tender. More information on this in Part C.
