The work under this Contract generally consists of the Reconstruction of Huron Street from John Street to the Roadhouse Drain. The Reconstruction activities primarily relate to the improving of roadway drainage, replacement of the existing sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer. New sidewalks and curb shall be installed where indicated on the plans. The Contractor will not be allowed to close any street without the express written consent of the City. To minimize disruptions to residents and businesses, the work will be completed in two stages: Stage 1 in 2026 and Stage 2 in 2027. Prior to the winter shutdown period between stages, the Contractor must reinstate all hard surfaces for winter operations.
