The UNOPS Peace and Security Cluster invites interested and eligible National/International Non-Governmental Organizations (“NGOs”) in Libya to apply for a Call for Proposals (“CFP”) for the grant project: Humanitarian Mine Action to Protect Civilians from Explosive Ordnance Threats in Libya, through mine action clearance project in line with Libyan priorities need and Libyan Mine Action Standard (LibMAS)The objective of the project is to enhance mine action capacity to address the immediate Explosive Ordnance (EO) threat and to contribute to enhance capacity that can address the longer-term consequences of the EO contamination in Libya. This project aims to reduce the impact of EO on the civilian population through the provision of support to mine action clearance in prioritized areas.
