description of work:

public safety canada`s community safety and countering crime branch (csccb), research division (rd) has a requirement for html conversion services. All services will be identified through task authorizations.

Each year, csccb rd publishes a number of documents that require html conversion. There are existing guidelines that the contractor must use during the course of the work. Public safety canada`s guidelines of the required html conversion for each document has been provided in annex a - html5 document conversion guidelines for contractors.

All publications will be in both english and french and html conversion will be required for each language. Some documents may be over 100 pages or more. Additionally, each publication may have tables, charts, pictures, etc.

The specific documents that will require html conversion under any task authorization will be determined at a later date.

Period of work

the work is to be performed from date of contract award to march 31, 2018.

The contractor grants to canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the contract by up to two additional one-year periods under the same terms and conditions. The contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions set out in the basis of payment. Canada may exercise this option at any time by sending a written notice to the contractor before the expiry date of the contract. The option may only be exercised by the contracting authority, and will be evidenced, for administrative purposes only, through a formal contract amendment.
