The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a fixed price purchase order, on a sole-source basis to GENTEX CORP (Cage: 60240) for the procurement of O2 Mask Regulator, Helmet and Communication Test Set (P/N G006-2300-06, NSN: 4920-01-656-4283), for PMA-260.
Gentex Corp is the designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer of the O2 Mask Regulator, Helmet and Communication Test Set, and Gentex Corp is the only source that possesses the data rights and technical data package for this effort.
NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1). No solicitation package is available for this procurement. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
