The City may choose to forward bid prices to suppliers by an electronic or other means after the public opening instead of reading out bid prices at the public opening. The City of St. John's requires Tub and Surround Resurfacing for the Housing Division.
EP - Acrylic high gloss polymer by Integrity Coatings or Approved Equal. Product must be spray applied. Product is isocyanate free, high gloss, uv-resistant, scratch resistant, stain resistant, and fast drying ready to use in 48 hrs.
The process involves etching the surface of tiles or tub, apply defilm solutions and alcohol drying for preparation for best bonding for 1:1 primer and three coats EP-Acrylic product. Colour would be China white. A slip resistant surface (SRS) ASTM F462 meeting ASTM standards can be optionally added. A mildew resistant caulking silicone based similar to GE Kitchen and Bath (white) must be used to complete any seams.
