Tender Details

The object of the procurement is the hourly work contract for urban forestry in the city of Lahti. The procurement includes 8 types of work that must be offered and priced. The amount includes a separate monthly care management fee.

All hourly work items included in the contract are implemented in a demanding urban environment.

The agreement is made for the period between 1 May 2024 and 31 August 2025.

The contract includes two option periods, both of which are 2 years long.

The first option period is 1 September 2025 31 August 2027.

The second option period is 1 September 2027 31 August 2029.

The City of Lahti decides on the use of option periods. The provider undertakes to produceamaa service during the option periods in accordance with the contract terms. The city decides on the use of option periods on June 1. by in the year the option period is implemented.

The city of Lahti owns approximately 7, 000 ha of forest in Lahti and in the area of neighboring municipalities (Hollola, Sysmae). In addition to the urban forests, the city manages the VuokratontiI don't care. There are approximately 5, 000 rental plots in the city.

The city sells timber to the forest industry annually for about 0.5 million. in euro. All types of forestry work are ordered from private service providers.

The city of Lahti has the right to order hourly jobs and contract forestry workoutside of this agreement.

Small objects are, for example, trees on rental plots owned by the city, individual dangerous trees to be removed from roadsides and urban forests, individual storm trees or trees to be felled in connection with the maintenance of public areas. In addition, the work sites have clearing saws...
