⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement :
A New network system should offers high-speed and stable network by Gigabit Ethernet.
B It should support integratively the medical service at the university hospital to manage hospital services smoothly. Also, it should have enough security system and protective counter plan against system troubles for the network system which handles all treatment information including patient information.
C It should be built by high-speed network with external dual structure. It needs to keep the functions of entire system even if some goes wrong. Also, it should have a support system for maintenance and failure to restore the system immediately after the breakdown and to minimize the damage on medical services.
D It should monitor the operational status of communication equipment constantly. It should have a function to send a message to network administrator immediately when failures occur in communication equipment.
E It should have Nagasaki Univerrsity Hospital Medical Information Network and Nagasaki University Campus Network (NUNet), and both network should connect to each existing network.
F It should connect to all sectors`system and medical devices, which connect to the Nagasaki University Campus Information Network, to exchange the information.
G For wireless connection, it should identify each PDA and use advanced cryptographic technology to communicate.
