Tenders are invited for Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Services
To identify a qualified Bidder to provide hospital-based violence intervention services.
- Emergency Medical Services, and EMS-designated trauma hospitals within county to provide direct services and support to patients treated for violence-related injury
- Open to provide their orientation to the types of violence they may address and data that is evidence of demonstrated need.
- Firearm Violence: Violence that involves the use of a firearm to inflict psychological harm, injury, or death
- Hate-Motivated Violence: Any act of intimidation, harassment, vandalism, physical force, or threat of physical force directed against any person or community motivated by hostility toward their real or perceived identify or group membership
- Intimate Partner Violence: Violence between spouses, sexual partners, individuals in dating relationships and former partners or spouses, which can occur inside or outside the home
