Tenders are invited for Holistic Resilience Assessment, Integrating Conflict and Peace and Gender Analysis Assessment.
Desired Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in conducting resilience assessments, and in particular holistic assessments
that include gender, peace and conflict and are age-sensitive.
• Team members should include members with experience in resilience, and where possible,
psychosocial resilience and well-being, economic resilience, conflict and peacebuilding and
gender analysis.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in conducting multi-country assessments in the Middle East,
highly desired in both Syria and Iraq contexts.
• Strong background in statistics and data analysis.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to speak and understand Arabic and local languages (or contract translators) for community
survey
Save the Children (SC) and partners in Syria and Iraq will undertake a holistic resilience assessment,
integrating conflict and peace and gender analysis assessment in anticipation of a four-year BMZ funded
transitional development program with the objective of ensuring that “Crisis-affected communities in
Northern Syria and Iraqi returnees impacted by the Syria crisis have improved social cohesion and increased
resilience, with a particular focus on children, young people and their caregivers.” The proposed program
will operate as a cross-border program in North-East Syria (NES): Hasakeh Governorate, North-West Syria
(NWS): Aleppo Governorate; Federal Iraq: Ninawa, Kirkuk and Salah al-Din Governorates; and Kurdistan
Region of Iraq: Duhok Governorate.
