Product Development is among the major interventions offered by OTOP Next Gen to help the CALABARZON MSMEs in reaching the world market. It is referred to as a general process of organizing, conceptualizing, producing and marketing newly-created or newly-rebranded goods and services. Hence, DTI - Batangas Provincial Office is conducting this project to help the BATANGAS MSMEs in developing their products and improving their existing product offers. This project will cover the whole process of Product Development, i.e. from product assessment to prototyping. Product Development for BATANGAS MSMEs will run from May to August 2026.
For this project, DTI - Batangas Provincial Office will select their target OTOP Next Gen enrollees
who will be given assistance on product development.

In general, the OTOP Next Gen Product Development aims to prepare the MSMEs to be one of
the important and stable suppliers of fresh and processed foods, as well as food supplements and
