Tender Details

The Institute for Chemistry is planning to purchase a femtose laser system. The laser system will consist of two parts: a YB-based femtosis oscillator/amplifier, which works at 100 kHz and is used for pumping an optical parametric amplifier (grandpa) with subsequent differential frequency mixture for coordinable MID-IR pulses. The laser system is used for two types of experiments: transient IR spectroscopy, which covers time scales from femtoseconds to seconds, 2D-IR spectroscopy and the combination of both. For transient spectroscopy in the middle IR area, the laser system is electronically synchronized with an existing TI: SA laser system, which requires that the repetition rate of the oscillator of one of the two laser systems, preferably the newly acquired YB-laser system by piezo control of its Resonator length can be quickly tuned in a certain frequency range.
