Description : The procurement concerns the development of a new phase contrast X-ray tomography set-up (PXCT) in the X-ray physics laboratory at the Institute of Physics, NTNU. The PXCT set-up will ensure the further development of the X-ray physics group (XPG), NTNU. The new PXCT set-up requires an X-ray source with a very small focal spot, high stability in focus, and minimum focus to the object distance. Nano-focus X-ray source with a Pilatus 1M detector is expected to be the 'work horse' in user designed experiments for high resolution 3D image processing.
